Ivy & Climber Trimming in Ealing & West London
Climbers make a London house look wonderful until they reach the gutters, cover the windows and start lifting the render. We cut ivy, Virginia creeper, wisteria, jasmine, honeysuckle and roses back to a neat line, clear them from windows and gutters, and remove the waste.

Ivy & Climber Trimming: your questions answered
Should ivy be removed from a house wall?
Ivy on sound brickwork is usually fine if it is kept away from gutters, roof tiles and window frames. On damaged render or soft old mortar it can do harm, in which case we cut it at the base, let it die back and strip it.
When should wisteria be pruned?
Twice a year: the long whippy growth is cut back in late summer and shortened again in late winter. That is what produces the flowers.
Can you work at height?
We work from ladders and platforms on two-storey houses. Anything above that we will tell you honestly if it needs a specialist.
